Speaker Announcement: Renowned Author and TV Personality to Address Right to Life Gala

— Rachel Campos-Duffy, an accomplished author, television personality, and the host of the cable news morning show “Fox & Friends Weekend,” is set to be the keynote speaker at the 2024 Focus on Life Benefit Gala on Oct. 22. This event is organized by Monroe County Right to Life.


The gala, along with a silent auction, will take place at LaRoy’s Hall, located at 12375 S. Telegraph Road. The doors will open at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 7 p.m.

Robert Burke, the president of the county chapter, mentioned that seating is limited for the event. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, reservations with payment must be submitted by Oct. 1. Individual admission is priced at \(125, or you can reserve a table for eight at \)720 if completed by June 1. The table rate increases to \(850 if booked by Aug. 1 and further rises to \)1,000 for reservations made on or after Aug. 2, as stated by Burke.

Rachel Campos-Duffy is married to former U.S. Representative Sean Duffy from Wisconsin, and together, they are parents to nine children. Their youngest daughter, Valentia, was born with Down syndrome. Campos-Duffy considers it an honor to advocate for her daughter and others with special needs, according to Right to Life.

In addition to her advocacy for individuals with special needs, Campos-Duffy serves as the national spokesperson for the Libre Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the economic empowerment of Hispanics through initiatives supporting limited government, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance. She has also been involved in the board of directors for Hispanics for School Choice.

Rachel Campos-Duffy, alongside her husband, hosts the podcast “From the Kitchen Table.” Her television career began on MTV’s reality show “The Real World,” where she featured in the San Francisco season, which she describes as the most popular and culturally significant season in the franchise’s history.

She has made numerous appearances as a guest on popular shows like NBC’s “Today Show” and ABC’s “The View.” In 2008, she co-hosted the series “Speaking of Women’s Health” on the Lifetime Network alongside Florence Henderson.

Campos-Duffy holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in international affairs from the University of California, San Diego.

The program at the gala will be hosted by Amber Roseboom, the newly appointed president of Right to Life of Michigan, succeeding Barbara Listing on Jan. 1. Roseboom’s dedication to advocating for the right to life, especially for the most vulnerable, stems from her passion for the political realm. She has been married to Tim Roseboom for 28 years.
