During the cover story feature in March, the celebrity shared insights into her collaboration with designer Ohara Davies-Gaetano, emphasizing the importance of realizing her vision for a “cozy and inviting” ambiance, especially during a challenging personal period.
Expressing her gratitude towards Ohara, Vergara highlighted the pivotal role the designer played in transforming her living space. She candidly admitted, “Working with Ohara was a lifesaver for me as I found myself at a crossroads. I had to decide whether I would despise or adore this house. I was hesitant to move in because things weren’t unfolding as I had envisioned.”
The actress initially acquired the property in 2020 while still married to her former spouse. Following their seven-year marriage, the couple announced their separation in July 2023, with the divorce finalized just two days later.
In a November 2023 interview, Vergara reflected on her post-divorce journey, describing it as an “interesting” and challenging period.
