Woman Achieves Perfect LSAT Score in a Real-Life ‘Legally Blonde’ Moment

A 20-year-old woman from Pennsylvania has recounted her real-life Legally Blonde experience after achieving a perfect score of 180 in the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).

Sarah Boyle shared with Newsweek, “Before the LSAT, I was optimistic about a good score, aiming for the 170s. However, scoring a 180 exceeded my wildest expectations.”

The LSAT, a standardized test for law school admissions, comprises sections on Reading Comprehension, Reasoning, and Logical Games. Scoring between 120 and 180, a 160 is typically competitive for top-100 schools, with the average score around 152. Yet, for prestigious law schools like Stanford, Yale, or Harvard, a score of 170 or higher is preferred.

Screenshots from Sarah Boyle’s TikTok, where she unveiled her perfect LSAT score, went viral.

Elle Woods, portrayed by Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde, is renowned for her exceptional LSAT score of 179 out of 180. The character, depicted as a stereotypical “valley girl,” famously ventures to Harvard Law School in the beloved movie.

“This score is significant as it enhances my scholarship prospects,” Boyle emphasized.

Out of over 49,000 ABA applicants this year, just 123 achieved a perfect 180 on the LSAT, as per the Law School Admission Council.

Despite her flawless score, Boyle remains pragmatic, recognizing that law school acceptance hinges on various factors beyond test results.

Looking ahead, Boyle aims to complete her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2025 and commence law school the same year. Her ultimate aspiration is to secure a CPA license and pursue a career as a corporate attorney.

Boyle’s TikTok video, revealing her 180 score, garnered over 1.4 million views, surpassing Elle Woods’ achievement.

Viewers lauded her accomplishment in the comments section, with Kirby exclaiming, “You outperformed Elle Woods. Congratulations, bestie!” Diane suggested proudly displaying a test result letter on a shirt for a perfect score, while Stephanie shared her LSAT practice struggle.

One viewer recommended Boyle wear a Legally Blonde-inspired ensemble on her first day of law school, saying, “Please wear pink on your first day of law school. For all the Woods Girlies out here!”

Excited about the future, Boyle expressed joy over the TikTok response, stating, “Being proud of myself and celebrating this achievement with others feels incredible. I’ve always admired Legally Blonde, so being likened to Elle Woods is an honor. Like her, I aim to inspire others that with hard work, any obstacle can be surmounted.”
