Pamela Anderson always had intentions of returning to her roots in farm life while enjoying a more adventurous lifestyle in Los Angeles. At the age of 56, she acquired a farm in Ladysmith, a town in British Columbia, Canada, more than three decades ago. Recently, she has dedicated time to refurbishing the property.
In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Anderson shared, “I purchased this property over thirty years ago from my grandmother, who spent her final days here, passing on her estate to her children. While I was indulging in the excitement of LA and various other locations, I eventually felt compelled to return during the COVID period, realizing that the time was ripe for it.”
The actress expressed her long-standing ambition to come back and revamp the farm, finding joy in the process. Reflecting on the sentimental value of the place, she mentioned, “There are numerous memories attached to it… It truly feels like a homecoming. I shared a deep bond with my grandfather, and I sense his presence all around me. He had this unique connection with nature, believing that the trees communicated with him. It’s almost mythical and deeply primal.”
Anderson reminisced about her childhood beliefs in “fairies and tree spirits,” instilled by her grandfather, which influenced her affinity for a more organic lifestyle. She elaborated, “My grandfather instilled in me the belief in gnome villages, elves, fairies, and tree spirits, nurturing my vivid imagination. The ‘nature bible’ we referred to, along with DIY skincare products, has always been a part of my life. Although it’s not a recent development, it’s fascinating to see the current trend towards sustainability and skincare simplification, which was deemed unconventional thirty years ago.”
Transitioning from her successful modeling career to acting, Anderson gained recognition for her role as the “Tool Time Girl” on “Home Improvement” in 1991, propelling her into stardom. Despite her achievements, she continues to evolve beyond her model persona, emphasizing the ongoing process of self-discovery and growth.
