Over the recent weekend, we were pleasantly surprised by a visit from our youngest grandson, Caleb, and his lovely wife, Kylee, who hail from Tennessee. Their trip was originally planned for an event in Columbia, but they graciously took the time to pay us a visit amidst their busy schedule, which meant the world to us.
Since then, my husband David and I have been reflecting on the genuine kindness displayed by certain individuals who effortlessly go out of their way to help others. For some, being thoughtful and considerate is second nature, while for others, it may seem like a daunting task.

Despite our modest camera equipment, the generosity of a Facebook friend, Rhea Horstman, who selflessly offered us her superior camera to enhance our photography endeavors, was truly remarkable. Her act of kindness will always be etched in my memory.
Furthermore, the unwavering support and dedication of friends like Duane Hobbs and Chigger Martin towards our son Randy and daughter-in-law Christine’s endeavors at ‘54 Country’ exemplify the true essence of friendship and camaraderie. Their tireless efforts and willingness to lend a helping hand in times of need are truly commendable.
