Musical Parodies Five Women Associated with Donald Trump in Off-Broadway Show

What better time than the present for a satirical off-Broadway musical that parodies the numerous women associated with Donald Trump’s life? Drawing inspiration from the popular Broadway show SIX, which delves into the lives of King Henry VIII’s six ex-wives, this new production titled FIVE humorously portrays the women linked to the 45th President of the United States.

The musical introduces characters like Ivana, Marla, Melania, Stormy, and Ivanka, each taking center stage to entertain the audience with their stories and songs. With a witty and irreverent approach, FIVE aims to bring laughter back into American hearts while shedding light on the colorful personalities surrounding the controversial President.

The creative minds behind the show, Shimmy Braun and Moshiel Newman Daphna, were inspired to create FIVE after witnessing the success of SIX. They saw an opportunity to playfully compare the experiences of these women with those of King Henry VIII’s ex-wives, offering a fresh perspective on the dynamics of power and relationships.

Featuring music and lyrics by Billy Recce, FIVE: The Parody Musical stars a talented cast including Anyae Anasia as Ivana, Gabriella Joy Rodriguez as Marla, Jamie Lyn Beatty as Melania, Gabi Garcia as Stormy, and Hannah Bonnett as Ivanka.

In a candid interview with Forbes during a press preview for FIVE, Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, shared insights on the legal challenges facing the President. Despite Trump’s legal troubles, Cohen expressed confidence in the American people’s discernment, emphasizing the importance of upholding democratic values in the upcoming election.

FIVE: The Parody Musical is set to run until April 21 at Theater 555 in New York, promising a delightful and thought-provoking theatrical experience for audiences.
