A newly viral video that captures the unlikely bond between Mila the dog and her owner’s boyfriend has amassed an impressive viewership, reminding everyone of the joy and laughter that our loved ones can bring into our lives.

Viewers watched as the dog was filmed playing with her new dad, who was busy setting up a perfectly timed Easter egg hunt around her.

“One minute you’re asking for her number, the next you’re setting up an Easter egg hunt for her dog,” Mila’s owner joked.

The video, which had been @milatheaussiedog, features a snippet of Mila enjoying the sunshine with her owner’s partner, while donning a pair of Easter-themed bunny ears.

Mila and her family are based in Pennsylvania.

Australian shepherds, known for their work ethic and loyalty, have often been featured in viral videos, but plenty of viewers had made sure to voice a unique appreciation for the bond between Mila and her new dad.
