Katie Lee Biegel: Juggling Life as a Chef, TV Host, and Mom
Katie Lee Biegel effortlessly manages her roles as a professional chef, TV personality, and mother to a young child. Despite her busy schedule, she occasionally indulges in a glass of wine to unwind.
Apart from her duties as a cohost on Food Network’s The Kitchen and as the host of Cooking Channel’s Beach Bites with Katie Lee, Biegel is also an accomplished author. Her culinary journey began with the release of her first cookbook, The Comfort Table, in 2008, followed by The Comfort Table: Recipes for Everyday Occasions a year later. She has since authored additional cookbooks like It’s Complicated and Endless Summer, along with the novel Ground Swell in 2012.
However, it is the role of being a mother that brings Biegel the most joy. She cherishes spending time cuddled up in bed, watching cartoons with her 3-year-old daughter, Iris. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, she revealed that their mornings often involve enjoying Paw Patrol together while sipping on her morning coffee.
In addition to her professional commitments, Biegel prioritizes fitness, shopping, and creating engaging cooking content for her Instagram followers. Her culinary skills also come in handy at home, where she prepares meals like pasta, chicken cutlets, guacamole, and salad for her family.
After a busy day, Biegel unwinds with her husband, whom she married in 2018, by enjoying a glass of wine and catching up on work before calling it a night at 9:15.
