The Danville Life Saving Crew struck gold this week when they received a new emergency vehicle from Caesars Virginia. The casino company generously donated almost $500,000 to the nonprofit rescue organization for this specific purpose.
The newly acquired transport vehicle stands out with its vibrant orange color and prominently features the number “777” on the driver’s side door, a playful nod to the concept of hitting the jackpot in a casino environment.

Woodall highlighted that the ambulance would serve as a cornerstone for expanding services to Danville’s east side, where a new station is in the works.
CEO Johnny Mills highlighted the crucial role that the Life Saving Crew fulfills in the community, handling over 15,000 calls each year.
