Expressing gratitude for New Jersey’s exceptional life sciences ecosystem, Hart emphasized the state’s undeniable impact, with over 50% of novel FDA approvals in 2023 originating from New Jersey-based companies. She underlined New Jersey’s reputation as the ‘Medicine Chest of the World.’

Subsequently, Governor Phil Murphy was introduced, recognized for his consistent advocacy in fostering an innovation economy and supporting the state’s life sciences sector. Hart highlighted the governor’s initiatives, including the Evergreen Innovation Fund and the Commission on Science, Innovation, and Technology (CSIT), culminating in New Jersey being selected to host the 2026 World Cup Final.
