KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The community bid farewell to civil process server Drexel Mack in a ceremony commemorating his life and dedication on Monday morning. He tragically lost his life two weeks ago while carrying out an eviction.
Described as a father, fiancé, mentor, and friend, Drexel Mack was a multifaceted individual who touched the lives of many. Pastor Darnell Hill, a close friend of Mack, reflected on the impact he had on those around him.
“Mack played numerous roles in the lives of many, making it challenging to encapsulate his essence in a single memorial or event like today,” shared Pastor Hill.
Known affectionately as Mack, he was a familiar figure to those he interacted with, leaving a lasting impression with his vibrant personality and infectious smile.
“Today, we lay to rest a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. Mack was not just a friend; he was a beacon of support and kindness. His presence will be deeply missed,” expressed Mack’s best friend, Jason Taylor.
In addition to his civilian endeavors, Mack also served in the U.S. Navy and contributed his talents to the naval choir. His dedication and compassion extended beyond his professional duties, as recounted by his friend Dalila Harris.
“Mack’s unwavering commitment to his community and friends was truly remarkable. He touched the lives of many, including mine, with his genuine care and concern,” shared Harris.
