Noor Alfallah, Al Pacino’s Partner, Faces Severe Illness During Pregnancy

Noor Alfallah confessed that she did not find joy in her pregnancy after being diagnosed with a life-threatening condition while carrying her child with the actor.

At the age of 30, Alfallah was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome shortly before delivering her son, Roman, with Pacino, who is 83 years old. HELLP Syndrome, a rare disorder affecting pregnant women, impacts the liver and blood clotting, as per the NIH.

Reflecting on her past, Alfallah expressed, “When I look back on it now, I wish I could have cherished my pregnancy more,” in an interview with Vogue Arabia.

She further shared, “Becoming a mom – to be honest – it’s greater than I ever could imagine. Roman has just been the greatest gift from God, a thousand times better than what I ever thought he would be. Every day I look at him, I just know I’m so blessed.”

Noor Alfallah remembered the time when she was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome during her pregnancy with Al Pacino’s fourth child.

In June 2023, Roman was born. Alfallah and Pacino aspire for their son to pursue his passions freely, although Alfallah acknowledges the potential influence of acting in his lineage.

“I think that there are a lot of similarities between Italians and Arabs,” Alfallah mentioned. “And because he’s an Italian Arab, I think he’s for sure going to be a soccer player. No, I’m just kidding,” she chuckled. “He can be whatever he wants to be. His dad, of course, wants him to be whoever he wants to be… I think acting is in his genes though.”

The relationship between Pacino and Alfallah became public in 2020, but their initial encounter dated back to a dinner party years earlier.

Recalling their first meeting, Alfallah shared, “I thought it was cool. I thought, wow, that’s Al Pacino. I went to film school, so I wasn’t dumb about who he was. He’s a very talented and unique person. But I had no intention of thinking like, ‘Oh, he is going to be my son’s father one day.’”

Noor Alfallah and Al Pacino transitioned from a platonic friendship to a romantic relationship during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alfallah explained, “Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like film school with Al Pacino. ‘Did you ever see ‘Scarface’? he asked me. ‘No,’ I answered, ‘Though I know the lines. Say hello to my little friend.’”

Their bond grew stronger as they explored Pacino’s lesser-known films together, leading to a deeper connection.

While maintaining their romantic status, the couple finalized a custody arrangement in a Los Angeles court shortly after welcoming their son.

“A lot of people are saying ‘did they break up?’ or ‘did they split up?’ They are still together,” clarified a representative for the actor regarding their relationship status.

Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah settled on a custody agreement in Los Angeles court post their son’s birth, with details remaining confidential.

The agreement outlined Pacino’s monthly child support of \(30,000 based on his annual income, granting him visitation rights while Alfallah secured primary physical custody. The monthly support amount may vary but will not exceed \)90,000, as per court documents.
