New York Life Partners with U.S. Soccer to Elevate the Game and Empower Communities

Forging a Lasting Alliance for Soccer’s Future

In a significant announcement, New York Life, the largest mutual life insurer in the United States, has entered into a multi-year partnership with U.S. Soccer. This collaboration marks New York Life as the official life insurance partner of the federation, focusing on celebrating the pioneers of American soccer while also promoting the sport’s growth from grassroots to professional levels. Starting this year, New York Life will take on a prominent role as the presenting partner for the Coach for Community initiative and the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship Series.

Championing Soccer and Communities Across the Nation

Aaron Ball, Senior Vice President at New York Life, emphasized the unifying power of soccer and its influence on youth across the country. He highlighted how this partnership aligns with New York Life’s mission to support communities and help families build secure futures. Through this alliance, New York Life aims to honor U.S. Soccer’s foundational figures by hosting a National Team title night, celebrating pivotal moments and iconic individuals who have shaped the sport’s history.

Enhancing Coaching and Empowering Women in Soccer

David Wright, U.S. Soccer’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm about welcoming New York Life into the U.S. Soccer family. As part of this collaboration, New York Life will also contribute to the SheBelieves Cup and SheBelieves Summit, initiatives that inspire and empower women in sports and beyond. Furthermore, the partnership will reinforce U.S. Soccer’s Coach for Community program, launched in 2021, which aims to provide coaching education and resources, particularly in underserved communities, to enhance the quality of soccer experiences nationwide.
